The Stronghold of Sseyl / Thayloth

From 0 to 1243, large areas of the world were ruled by the Temora. This age was stamped by the erection of huge architectural constructions which were representative elements, meant to express the power of the occupying force. In many places you can still find the relics of these buldings which now in a silent way witness those days gone by.

Not far away from Sseyl, which is in the south west of the thaylothonian island Morathia, lies the ruin one of the oldest Temora outpost that was erected shortly after the beginning of the occupation of Thayloth. Ironically, this former stronghold never had to stand an ayganyayan attack. This is historically in accord to the recorded general behaviour of the Ayganyans at the time when the Temora arrived. On this note, the occupying force was received with much less animosity than the Temora themselves had expected.

After the Ayganyay gained the victory in 1243, the old buildings were left harum-scarum when the Temora quickly disappeared.
Furthermore, the ayganyayan disposition to maintain relics and ruins made it possible for the remnants of the Sseyl stronghold to be still accessible today. Only the temorian high technology equipment was completely removed from the ruins providing the knowledge basis for the destructive development of the Ayaganyay in the later Age of States which led to the terrible wars between 2851 and 3294.

Here you can find Sseyl on a map.
