Neakha-Ferkayth

The Ruins of the old Ferkayth near Ferkayth / Keloeth

Our journey leads us up into the cold of Keloeth - the continent which is never completely illuminated by daylight.
Being far north of the Hygisaydh, Keloeth is said to be the continent of raging s
torms and everlasting ice.
It may surprise that any highly developed culture of Ayganyan could experience a large bloom in such an uncomfortable place, but Kelthys
was one of those who made it.
If we take a closer look at the flexibility especially the Ayganyay showed in making themselves fit into specific life zones their world offers, the extreme conditions in Keloeth do not appear as a big deal anymore.

The Ayganyay of the north are still being protected by their thick coat that helps them stand temperatures down to far below zero without getting any serious problems. The increased eye-size typical for the population of the older native Ayganyay of Keloeth, made them more sensitive for low light and enhance the amount of visible light of the polar days to an extent close to night view ablity.

Old Ferkayth was a garrison center of the Realm of Keloeth.
The relics of the high buildings still witness the large number of Ayganyay, who once inhabited this place and made it a blooming metropolis. Thus, the old Ferkayth was considered the center of the ayganyayan gene technology - a dubious decoration, as seen from today's point of view.
The former millions of Ayganyay lived together in an area of only 30 square kilometers, until the lenntay was finally given up after the Last Culture Revolution.
It decayed after the last inhabitants had moved away into the so-called Areas of the New Start.
Today, the icy wind is all that remained of the old Ferkayth.
